The International Fine Art & Antiques Show is shaking things up for its 27th iteration. Held at the distinguished Park Avenue Armory from October 23–29, 2015, the fair will debut a new name and logo as well as an updated marketing aesthetic. Now simply called The International Show, the fair, which has historically featured fine art and antiques, will also include twentieth century and contemporary art and design. According to Anna Haughton, who organizes the fair alongside Brian Haughton, “20th century/contemporary design/works of art, now a fully ensconced collecting area at the fair, is represented by exceptional dealers.” The fair has also added “Art, Antiques and Design” to its title to cover the three major categories represented at the fair. The Haughtons believe that the recent updates will reflect the inimitable event’s new and exciting chapter.

Sixty-seven of the world’s top dealers, including Thomas Colville Fine Art, LLC, Peter Finer, Bernard Goldberg Fine Arts, LLC, Hollis Taggart Galleries, H.M. Luther Antiques, Lillian Nassau LLC, Ronald Phillips Ltd., Drucker Antiques, Inc, and Erik Thomsen, will be exhibiting at this year’s fair. The International Show’s thoughtfully curated offerings range from furniture, paintings, sculpture, glass, and ceramics to jewelry, silver, clocks, and ethnographic art. New York’s first vetted event, The International Show, has a long-running history of attracting the industry’s top collectors, connoisseurs, curators, and interior designers thanks to its stunning array of exceptional objects for sale.

The International Show will kick off with an opening night gala benefiting Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center on Thursday, October 22, 2015. The highly anticipated event is a favorite among high profile guests from the art, design, fashion, and philanthropic worlds. This year’s fair will also include The International Circle Young Collectors Inaugural Party on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. An expansion of the relationships that The International Show has cultivated with some of New York’s most prominent cultural institutions, this new initiative includes special VIP Highlight tours of the fair and offers young collectors and patrons the opportunity to meet the fair’s specialist dealers. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Department of Pediatric Cancer Research at the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. For information visit www.haughton.com.
