Arne Vodder
Trained by Finn Juhl, Danish designer Arne Vodder (1926-2009) became well known and internationally recognized for his architectural and furniture design. He worked with Anton Borg on low cost housing planning and later designed furniture in rosewood and teak. His work became appreciated for both it's simplicity and modernity. Vodder selected Model 29 sideboard as his definitive piece but he is also well received for his desk sideboard combinations, chairs and other objects. Vodder designed desks were used by many notables-including former US President Jimmy Carter. Arne Vodder Danish furniture & design remain popular worldwide.
