Camille Fauré

French, 1872 - 1944
Camille Fauré (1874-1956) was a French painter who specialized in landscape and still-life paintings. He was born in Toulouse, France and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris under the famous French painter Gustave Moreau.

Fauré was influenced by the Impressionist movement and often used vibrant colors and loose brushstrokes in his work. He was also known for his use of light and his ability to capture the essence of a scene in his paintings.

Fauré's paintings were exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Indépendants, two of the most important art exhibitions in Paris during the early 20th century. His work was well received by critics and collectors, and he achieved significant success during his lifetime.

Today, Fauré's paintings can be found in museums and private collections around the world, including the Musée des Augustins in Toulouse, France and the Indianapolis Museum of Art in Indiana, USA.
