Irwin Feld Design, originally founded as CF Modern, was rebranded to reflect the personal vision and legacy of its creator, Irwin Feld. The company was established with the goal of providing customizable luxury furniture fabricated in New York City. Feld’s interpretations of bespoke Mid-century Modern design, along with his merchandising expertise, have enabled Irwin Feld Design to become an innovative leader in the field, unifying the core values of beauty, craftsmanship, and elegance.
Having honed his skills as a top-selling Mid-century Modern dealer in his Stamford, Connecticut gallery, Feld moved his business to the New York Design Center, where he phased out his vintage collections and shifted focus to the custom elements of the Irwin Feld Design collection.
Irwin Feld Design continues to maintain a strong commitment to Mid-Century design and to manufacturing locally in New York, ensuring quality through attention to detail in both the creative process and the selection of luxury materials. The company is proud to offer exceptional service to architects and designers across the globe.
What began with a signature stiletto bench has grown into a series of collections, including small and large case goods, seating, tables, and signature mirrors. Each piece is custom designed to meet the client’s specific vision and project needs. All seating options are available COM or COL. Wood finishes are carefully matched to the desired color or lacquer. Standard hardware is solid polished unlacquered brass, with other finishes available in lacquered, polished, satin, antique brass, or polished nickel. Irwin Feld Design produces all custom pieces within a 12-week lead time.
