Chad Kleitsch
American, 1968
Chad Kleitsch, originally from New Jersey, earned his B.A. in photography from Bard College in New York in 1991. Since then, he has shared his expertise through lectures at prestigious institutions, including Bard College, Yale University, Sarah Lawrence College, and The Center for Photography at Woodstock. Kleitsch has also taught photography at various colleges and art centers, including Simons Rock, Woodstock Center for Photography, and LaGuardia College.
His artistic work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across the United States, with notable displays at The Art Institute of Chicago, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Connecticut, the CCS Bard Hessel Collection in New York, and several prominent galleries, including the Ariel Meyerowitz Gallery and Yancy Richardson Gallery in NYC, as well as the Carrie Haddad Gallery in Hudson, NY. In 2010, he was honored with The Center for Photography at Woodstock's Photographers Fellowship Fund Award.
