Demitrius Irving Tolentino Omphroy (born May 30, 1989) is a contemporary expressionistic painter and former professional footballer. Born and raised in the United States, Omphroy also holds citizenship in Panama and the Philippines through his heritage. His diverse background informs his artistic perspective, allowing him to blend cultural influences into his work.
Omphroy's journey into art began alongside his athletic career. A talented athlete, he played as a defender and midfielder, representing the U.S. at the under-17 level and later competing professionally in Major League Soccer. However, it was his passion for painting that ultimately became his true calling.
