Flemming Lassen (1902-1984) was a Danish architect and designer who was an important figure in the Scandinavian design movement of the mid-20th century. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and worked in the studio of Arne Jacobsen before starting his own architectural firm. Lassen designed several notable buildings in Denmark, as well as iconic furniture pieces such as the "Easy Chair" and the "Grant Chair". His designs are characterized by their clean lines, functionality, and use of natural materials. Lassen's contributions to design have made him an important figure in the history of Danish and Scandinavian design.
