Guido Faleschini

Guido Faleschini (1924-1971) was an Italian-Swiss designer known for his contributions to the design of modern furniture in the mid-20th century. He was born in Italy and trained as an architect in Milan before moving to Switzerland to work for the furniture company, Chromo SA. Faleschini designed a number of iconic pieces for Chromo, including the P40 lounge chair, which is still in production today. He was also a prolific designer for Artflex, another Swiss furniture company, and his work was featured in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Faleschini passed away at the age of 47, but his designs continue to be highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts.
