Imperial Furniture Company was founded in 1903 by F. Stuart Foote. Foote began working at his father's company, Grand Rapids Chair Co. and branched out to found Imperial. The company's products were mostly tables but they later added case pieces. Imperial was the first company to bring out Duncan Phyfe reproductions. They eventually closed in 1954.
