Lady Liberty

Lady Liberty, otherwise known as the Statue of Liberty, is a gift from France to the United States. It was given to the United States in 1886, and is a symbol of freedom and democracy. It stands at 305 feet tall and is located on Liberty Island in the New York Harbor. It was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel.
