Professional solider who also specialised in botanical drawings. Born Rastatt 1726, died Rastatt 1795. Mainly painted flowers and plants. Employed at Schloss Brushal in 1747 and betwen 1792 and 93 worked at Schloss Favourite, a castle 12 miles from Karlsruhe.
