Peter Lane is an American ceramic artist whose pieces act as both works of fine art and as anchors to interior spaces, He introduced the birch bark finish in mid-2000s and this particular lamp is from his archive. He has become known for monumental wall installations which have taken him away from production of these smaller scaled works Peter's work has been exhibited at FOG Fair, The Collective, The Bass Museum of Art and in the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. This lamp is signed on the back, has a white linen drum shade and an adjustable height stem.
