Founded in 1972 in New York, NY, Sirmos has consistently pioneered, developed and introduced lighting products acknowledged and enamored by the design industry for its complex designs, finishes and craftsmanship.
Sirmos was acquired by International Ironworks, Inc, in 2005, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA. In March 2007, Sirmos became a division of iWORKS.
Since its inception, Sirmos has provided designers and architects world class lighting designs to outfit hospitality, commercial, retail and residential interiors. Sirmos is known and widely acclaimed for remarkable in-house sculpting, molding, casting, metalwork, and exquisite finishes. Sirmos expertise in producing various shapes and colors of cast resin diffusers have established a cult-following of dedicated designers and architects, while also proving to the design community that no design idea is too complex.
Today, Sirmos is recognized worldwide as one of the leading innovative lighting manufacturers to the trade for its products, creativity, quality, service and design.
