William Haseler

William Haseler (1848-1925) was a British silversmith and businessman who founded the company, William Haseler & Co. in Birmingham, England in 1870. The company was known for producing high-quality silverware, and became one of the largest and most successful silver manufacturers in Birmingham during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
 
Haseler was a master silversmith and was known for his attention to detail and craftsmanship. His company produced a wide range of silver items, including flatware, tea sets, and decorative objects, and was particularly known for its Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts designs.
 
In addition to his work as a silversmith, Haseler was also a successful businessman and played an important role in the development of Birmingham's silver industry. He served as President of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce from 1903 to 1905, and was also a member of the city's council.
 
Today, William Haseler & Co. is still in operation and continues to produce high-quality silverware. The company's legacy is celebrated in museums and collections around the world, and its designs are highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts of fine silverware.
