Description
1 Volume. Kenneth Grahame, The Wind in the Willows. Bound by Charles E. Lauriat in full green calf with the cover displaying a double-ruled border and depictions of characters centrally, both gilt-tooled. The spine displays raised bands, bordering, character depictions on the panels, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled with blue and red morocco labels. All of the edges are gilded with floral gilt-tooled turn-ins and marbled endpapers. Illustrated in color by Arthur Rackham with an introduction by A.A. Milne. Published by Methuen & Co., Ltd. in London, 1960.
