A possibly unread copy.A bright example of the third of the Christopher Robin books, comprising a delighful collection of rhymes and verses, some of which, such as 'Us Two' and 'The Friend' feature Winnie-The-Pooh. The final one, 'The End', has the now famous final couplet;

'But now I am Six, I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.'

First edition, deluxe issue; 8vo (187 x 130 mm), illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard, pictorial endpapers, red silk ribbon marker intact, browning to half-title and verso of final leaf with printer's colophon (as often), otherwise fine; publisher's red roan, pictorial endpapers, red silt ribbon marker intact, all edges gilt, a little faint rubbing to upper and two small repaired scuffs, otherwise very good and bright.
