12 vols, sml. 8vo (175 x 115 mm); tissue-guarded illustrations by B.S. Greig and others, engraved vignette title-pages and ornamental chapter headings by F.C. Tilney, a little, random spotting, mostly to some preliminary pages and the odd tissue-guard but in the main, clean and bright contemporary half calf gilt over marbled boards, matching endpapers and top edge gilt, very mildly rubbed, fore-edges spotted, otherwise very good. -
