Antique Russian vermeil and enamel table clock
Russian, Early 20th Century
Clock: Height 8cm, width 6cm, depth 7cm
Case: Height 4cm, width 8.5cm, depth 11cm
This exquisite Russian table clock is crafted of vermeil and turquoise guilloche enamel. The clock features a central white oval dial with black Arabic numerals, which is bordered in vermeil. The clock face is set into a flat rectangular case which is crafted in vermeil and inlaid all over with turquoise guilloche enamel. To the reverse is a folding vermeil stand, and marks for St. Petersburg, 1896-1908, an assay mark for Jakow Ljapunow and '88' and indistinct makers mark. The clock is set within a fitted custom case. -
