19/20th C. Wood Statue of St. Christopher & Baby Jesus, hand carved in the best tradition of the old continental school of master carvers, great composition, detailed carving of the hands, feet, faces. The figure is carved from one solid block of walnut wood you can see the chisel marks, minute traces of paint. Signed by the artist carver D. Neu (unknown).
