Antique Spanish Colonial Rosewood and Ebony Document Box, 18th C. Spain

Description
A superb early 18th century Spanish colonial document box with heavy hand forged iron hasp, hinges and lock-plate and hand forged nails. Constructed out of rosewood and top decorated with edge molding made out of ebony, cascade base molding and bracket feet is ebony too. Overall with a rich and lustrous surface patina. Lock and key is original and in working condition.
