Description
An Early deluxe edition of the Universum Space Age Chess Set that comes with custom a fitted wood box containing a top shelf insert to hold all the pieces. Designed by Arthur Elliot and hand carved by Anri, the woods are walnut and maple. In addition to the custom fitted wood box, this set also has it’s original Arni wooden chess board from 1958. The board measures 14.5 square. Designer Arthur Elliott worked as an early animator for Disney Studios as well as a product designer. HEIGHT: 4 in. (10 cm); DIAMETER: 1.1 in. (3 cm).
