Aston Martin Superleggera Showroom Display Model
-
Description
A showroom model of a Aston Martin Supperleggera DB5. This model was made from a modified Japanese toy from the period. Originally this toy would have had a battery operated motor, but now is only a static display model. Most likely commissioned by an Aston Martin showroom executive. The story goes that the model was acquired by an American Airlines pilot and brought to the United States. We cannot confirm this, but the model was a serious attempt to be a true representation of the real car. A one of a kind creation and a perfect desk or study decoration for an Aston Martin owner.
