Spectacular hand-blown glass vase in opalescent blue glass with gold overlay by Ermanno Nason, Murano Italy, 1967 (signed "E Nason 1967" on bottom). It was blown hot and required exceptional glass blowing skills. This vase is a masterpiece.
Comes with an authentication by Sergio Gnesin, expert and author of the biographical book “I Vetri di Ermanno Nason” (The Glass Scullptures of Ermanno Nason) published in 2003. -
