Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame, 1904. Shaped rectangular window in shaped surround with bracket feet. Chased ornament: Entwined tendrils and flower heads spilling over molded border and scallop shells surrounded by dynamic scrolls. Tubular cartouche (vacant). Mounted to stained wood with hinged easel support. With beveled glass and silk lining. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked at top including unidentified maker's stamp and Birmingham assay stamp. Very good condition with deep patina.
