The picture frames in this pair are designed in the Neoclassical style. Each frame is crafted from gilt metal, with a foliate moulded external border and a laurel moulded interior one separated by a yellow silk surround. The four sides of the frames are mounted with floral rosettes. Each frame features a loop hanging mount on top and an easel backing, and the metal is stamped for Puiforcat of France.
