Lovely Tramp Art photo frame from the period in Austria around 1880. Elaborately hand carved out of bass this antique photo frame shows the beautiful so-called "notch cut" technique. The dark brown stained surface reinforces this great looking design. Still holding the original mouth blown glass plate, this one of a kind rural frame can hold pictures/ photos up to a maximum size of 7" x 8.4". A really decorative piece of a late 19th century Tramp Art frame coming in perfect restored condition.
