Antique Chinese Hardwood Fretwork Grill
-
Description
This is a wonderful example of Chinese craftsmanship and attention to detail in even the most mundane of objects--window fretwork. The Panel is in overall very good (apparently) original condition. We have placed it over a 19th century Japanese tansu to add depth to the vignette. The panel could also be hung on the bias and it draw in even more interest.
This piece can be considered to be equal in visual impact to a piece of fine art or sculpture. -
