Description
Asian Jardinière, Planter, Cachepot or Fish Bowl, Tony Duquette
A finely crafted Cachepot or Fish Bowl in the manner of Tony Duquette having double Dragons in a pleasing silhouette. This pot has a traditional continuous coiling dragon wrapped around the body chasing the eternal flaming pearl. The dragon represents good luck and is carved into the outside clay before firing. The dragon and other designs are a yellowish tan on a medium brown background. The inside of the pot and top edge are glazed in teal/turquoise inner body and rim, edged with the Cloud and Thunder pattern just below the rim. -
