A French mid-19th century barbotine Majolica jardinière by French potter Thomas Sargent, with floral motifs. Born in France during the 19th century, this Palissy inspired Majolica jardinière features a lovely barbotine décor of delicate pastel flowers accompanied with their leaves in the front, standing out beautifully on a dark brown ground. The other side of the planter is decorated with green ivy, wrapping itself around the lateral handles, while the inside is highlighted by a deep turquoise color. With its lovely décor and the wavy patterns of its upper section, this French Thomas Sargent 1850s barbotine Majolica jardinière will be an excellent addition to any home.
