French 19th Century Neoclassical Style Cherry Jardinière with Tin-Lined Interior
-
Description
A French neoclassical style cherry jardinière planter from the 19th century, with tin-lined interior, fluted motifs and tapering legs. Born in France during the 19th century, this handsome jardinière, made of cherry, features an oval-shaped tin-lined planter, accented with elegant fluted motifs on its four sides. The ensemble is raised on four fluted tapering legs, visually marked by thin reeded accents on the apron and is resting on four brass feet. The golden patinated hue of the brass complimenting beautifully the warm patina of the cherrywood, along with the Neoclassical lines of the piece, will make this French 19th century jardinière an elegant decorative choice for any living room, foyer or patio.
