A pair of French Louis XV period walnut communication doors from the mid 18th century, with raised panels and iron hardware. Created in France in the 18th century during the reign of King Louis XV nicknamed Le Bien-Aimé (the Beloved), this walnut pair of French communication doors features a perfectly harmonious arrangement made of three rows of panels (two large ones surrounding a smaller one) presenting discreetly raised accents. The doors are fitted with handsome iron hardware with scrolling motifs perfectly contrasting the linearity of the silhouette. With their elegant lines and great walnut patina, this pair of French Louis XV period communication doors circa 1750 will bring a touch of majesty to any room. The doors are sold as seen in the pictures, with no extra hardware nor framing.
