Minton Majolica flower pot (jardiniere) which features a nautilus shell on a coral-like base which is draped in seaweed. Colouration: turquoise, green, magenta, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '437'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1876.
