Victorian antique majolica jardinière of the four seasons by Minton
English, c. 1905
Height 39cm, diameter 32cm
This characteristically colourful majolica jardinière by Minton depicts four female relief profiles stylized as the four seasons. The profiles are surrounded by a pattern of berried foliage and feature a Roman geometric pattern to the rim and a semi-pierced, circular base. The underside is marked for Minton.
