This fine pair of mahogany pedestals is crafted in the Neoclassical style. Each pedestal is of tapering form, widening from bottom to top, and set above a broad foot and surmounted by a flat top. The pedestals are richly adorned with giltwood detailing: Neoclassical accents abound, such as the frieze of foliate scrolls around the top of each, centred with a classicised mask. The remainder of the pedestals are further adorned with giltwood beading, egg-and-dark borders, and rosettes.
