A rare and important Italian alabaster bust sculpture of Jesus Christ, C. 1860
A modeled bust of Holy Christ wearing a crown of thorns, exceptionally and realistically hand-carved in Rome in around 1860 inscribed "HUMANITAS".
An extremely unique and one of a kind piece.
Measures: 21" high x 11" wide x 4" deep.
Very good condition overall, minor chips to some corners. Ready to place.
