The Scutoid Planters were inspired by the scientific discovery that epithelial cells naturally curve to adopt very beautiful and complex, yet stable geometric shapes known as scutoids, which consist of sheets of similar tissue bound closely together to form larger organic beings. Constructed of solid stone, these planters are remarkably sturdy and intended to bind the connection between the indoor and outdoor experience.
