Description
A souvenir paperweight for the yacht ‘Rainbow’ by Herreshoff. This solid brass desk paperweight is of rectangular form with a ship’s cleat in the centre. It is incised with the text ‘Rainbow,’ William H. Vanderbilt Esq., Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, Bristol, Rhode Island’ within a rope twist border with anchors suspended from the top corners. American, circa 1934.
