Description
This amazingly modern, perfectly proportioned, streamline table top mirror was designed in 1934 by Norman Bel Geddes for Simmons. It is solidly constructed with a satin nickel finish. This mirror is in excellent condition. We have 3 available. In 1929, after his career as a designer in the theater, Norman Bel Geddes opened an industrial design company. He went on to become one of the foremost American modernist designers of the 1930s and 1940s. Examples of Norman Bel Geddes’ work are held in the 20th Century Design Depts. of several museum collections.
