17th CENTURY NEVERS FAIENCE BALUSTER VASE IN THE CHINOISERIE TASTE
Large faience vase decorated with images in the chinoiserie taste. A figure mounted on a donkey with a servant offering provisions nest to him, a group of three figures with flags and musical instruments and seated figures talking.
The bottom quarter decorated with painted leaves and the top with lambrequins.
Nevers, France c. 1680.
