Description
Important terracotta sculpture portrait of Pietro Micca brave Italian soldier. Enlisted as a miner soldier in the Savoy army, he is historically remembered for the episode of heroism in which he lost his life during the French siege of 1706, during the war of the Spanish succession. This sculpture was made in memory of him in the 19th century by important workshops in Castellamonte. High artistic quality of Italian sculpture.
