Description
A pair of 21" contemporary library floor-standing globes with re-printed late 18th century Carys gores set in shagreen tripod stand. The gores of both this terrestrial and celestrial floor-standing globes were reprinted from original late 18th century Carys globes and applied to contemporary spheres. They are set in bespoke hand crafted shagreen tripod stands with the stretchers centred on a compass rose.
