Totem designed by Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019), made of ceramic with high gloss glaze. Composed of three independent pieces that make it detachable. Pieces signed by the artist. Number 23/50. Italy.

Alessandro Mendini was an industrial designer, architect, and painter who played an important role in the development of Italian design. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, his designs are characterized by his interest in the mixture of different cultures and forms of expression. His works can be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris.
