Alvino Bagni for Raymor vase, ceramic, orange, green, brown, signed. Tall cylinder vase with a subtle textured sand glaze of bright orange, green, and an earth tone brown. Designed by Alvino Bagni of Florence and distributed by Raymor worldwide. Marked: R2153 Raymor, Italy on underside of vase.

Alvino Bagni (1919-2000) was an elite ceramist and contemporary of Aldo Londi (Head Designer at Bitossi) and Guido Gambone. Bagni worked under Londi, in the early part of his career, before opening Bagni Ceramiche in 1956 in Lastra a Signa - Florence, Italy. Bagni Ceramiche supplied both the European and North American markets until his retirement in 1992.
