Bagni for Raymor, vase, ceramic, white, stripes, blue, yellow, signed. Tall chunky bisque vase decorated with bands of blue turquoise, burnt orange, yellow and two shades of blue on the upper half of the vase. Retains faded Raymor paper label on the underside.
Alvino Bagni (1919-2000) was an elite ceramist and contemporary of Aldo Londi (Head Designer at Bitossi) and Guido Gambone. Bagni worked under Londi, in the early part of his career, before opening Bagni Ceramiche in 1956 in Lastra a Signa - Florence, Italy. Bagni Ceramiche supplied both the European and North American markets until his retirement in 1992. - More Information
