Antique backgammon and chess or checkers board box disguised as a two-volume set of the History of England, Vol. 1 and 2. The hinged box is covered in leather which is dyed red and black and gilt tooled. The outside is for chess or checkers and the inside is for backgammon. The inside is also decorated in red and black leather.
