Description
European silver cow creamer, ca 1910. A sweet bovine with vacant expression and gaping mouth spout; flexed back ears, hinged back cover with fly finial, and ring-handle tail. Stands midstride on firmly planted hoofs, ready to help out at breakfast. Marks include indistinct fineness stamp (“83[?]”) and “S&F”, possibly for New York retailer Spier & Forsheim. Very good condition.
