Japanese Meiji Art Nouveau silver vase, ca 1890. Ovoid with plain and spread girdled foot, scalloped mouth, faceted neck, and shoulder. Iris flowers in relief with loose and splayed petals and tight buds, and entwined tendrils; stippled ground and eddying water borders. Marked. Very good condition. Modish exoticism for the sophisticated West. Marked. Very good condition.
