The Boeing Clipper was a long-range Flying Boat made by the Boeing Aircraft Company. It was the Pan American flagship it was also flown by British Imperial Airways. This exquisite model is an interpreted meticulous homage to the iconic Boeing Clipper, a long-range flying boat from the era of 1938 to 1942. Designed with impeccable attention to detail, this artful representation seamlessly captures the essence of both the aircraft’s historical significance and the glamorous Art Deco design period.
This model is very well-detailed and made of solid wood construction and plated metal parts. It certainly interprets and honors the important Boeing historic plane. It is similar to the Martin M-162A ‘Tadpole Clipper which was a prototype.
