Description
Brass Jewellery Box, Germany C.1920 probably Erhard & Söhne of Schwäbisch Gmünd. The box of rectangular shape, the brass body and cover oxidised inlay classic art nouveau arabesque decoration featuring panels with images of mythological creatures on the lid and each of the 4 sides; the rim edges with individual rivets. The box is complete violet dark mauve velvet interior. Measures: approximately 5.50 x 3.25 x 1.75inches. Base impressed with the number 5.
