English sterling silver letter opener, 1994. Cast figure of a fox in midstride crouching low on fallen trunk with one hindleg balancing on mossy ground. A sweet varmint with long snout and pointy ears. Plain and tapering blade. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (Asprey) and Birmingham assay stamp. Very good condition.
